Plan your next mountain getaway in this 4BR, 3.5BA English cottage complete with a rushing mountain stream that will keep the kids busy for hours! The cottage sleeps up to 14 guests and features a large lower-level "kid-cave" and rec room. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from the large upper and lower decks with tree-top views of the heavily wooded 2-acre property. Relax, roast marshmallows, and make memories after a long day of hiking by the oversized stone fire pit. This property is the ideal setting for your next extended family gathering or reunion with friends.

Property Details
Sleeping
Once Upon a Stream features 4 bedrooms plus a lower-level "Kid Cave" and sleeps up to14 guests.
Master en-suite (main level)- King bed with luxuriously soft sheets and blanket, premium down-alternative pillows, and decorative quilt and shams- sleeps 2.
Bedroom 2 (second level)- Queen bed with premium sheets and blanket, duvet, and premium down-alternative pillows- sleeps 2
Bedroom 3 (second level)- features two log Queen beds with very comfortable memory foam mattresses, premium sheets, duvet, decorative quilts, shams, and down-alternative pillows - sleeps 4
Loft (second level)- a couch for overflow
4th Bedroom en-suite (lower level basement)- Queen bed with premium sheets, blanket, decorative quilt and shams, and down-alternative pillows- sleeps 2
Rec-Room & "Kid Cave" (lower level basement)- Features two sets of log twin over twin bunk beds- with very comfortable new memory foam mattresses, premium sheets, blankets, decorative quilts and shams, and down-alternative pillows- sleeps 4. There are also couches for overflow.

The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare gourmet meals at home. New full-size refrigerator and freezer with ice make and dispenser in-door.

KEURIG coffee maker and starter coffee pods.
All kitchen utensils one would need.
Plentiful dishes, cookware, and baking dishes

The Master bathroom (main level) has large soaking tub, separate shower, his/hers vanities and boasts beautiful treetop views.
Powder bathroom (main level) is off the living room.
Guest bathroom (2nd level) has tub/shower combo and is shared by two bedrooms upstairs.
Guest bathroom (lower level) is shared by the rec room and has direct access to the bedroom. It has a tub/shower combo and two vanities.
We provide soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper.

Outdoor Amenities
Once Upon a Stream is situated on a private, wooded, two-acre lot and backs to a rushing mountain stream.
The large covered upper deck features a Jenn-Air gas grill, dining table, and Adirondack chairs
The lower deck has some additional seating and is popular with Yoga enthusiasts! Just off of the deck, is a large stone gathering area with stone fire pit.
Follow the stone/boulder walkway downhill to the stream. This path is the perfect place to take in a workout- its an easy walk, but makes for an intense jog up and downhill. Alternatively, venture down to the stream and sit and relax watching the kids play.
Our guests have access to all Sapphire Valley Resort amenities for $2/person/day (extra charge for golf, Skiing, snow-tubing, and zip-line) including the private and beautiful Fairfield Lake.
Also within walking distance of the cottage is Hogback Lake which is great for fishing off the dock, or kayaking and canoeing (you will need to provide the vessel).
Pets
Most dogs are welcome with owners' permission- we do charge a non-refundable $150 pet fee.
NO CATS- the owner is allergic to cats.
We provide a large dog crate, dog bed, and bowls. All pets must be current on shots and also on flea/tick prevention. We reserve the right to restrict certain breeds.
Parking
The gravel driveway is relatively flat, level, easy to navigate, and has room for multiple cars. Unlike many other mountain properties, the driveway is NOT steep and is easily accessible.
Suitability
All primary renters must be at least 25 years of age. Children and families are welcome. Absolutely no parties or large gatherings are permitted.
