Enjoy stunning long-range mountain views from nearly every room. Situated at the end of a quiet private road, the cabin features open-concept living, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. You'll love relaxing by the newly constructed outdoor stone patio and fire pit. The home is accessible in all weather- 4WD is not necessary but is recommended in the winter months due to the potential of ice and snow. The Bald Rock community is adjacent to Panthertown Valley which offers over 25 miles of hiking, riding, and biking trails.

Property Details
Sleeping
The cottage has 3 Bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests
Master Suite (main level)- Log King bed with 12" green tea-infused memory foam mattress, luxurious sheets, micro-fleece blanket, decorative quilt, and premium down-alternative pillows.
Queen Bedroom 2 (lower level)- Queen bed with 12" memory foam mattress, premium sheets, micro-fleece blanket, decorative quilt, and premium down-alternative pillows.
Bunk Room (Lower level)- two sets of log bunk beds- twin over queen. All beds feature memory foam mattress, premium sheets, micro-fleece blanket, decorative quilt, and premium down-alternative pillows.

The home features everything you'll need to prepare gourmet meals at home. Full-size refrigerator and freezer with ice maker.
Electric oven and induction cooktop.
Small appliances include a toaster oven, crock pot, and blender.
Keurig coffee maker and starter coffee pods.
All kitchen utensils one would need.
Bluestone cookware including non-stick pots and pans, baking sheets and dishes. Glass baling dishes.
Plentiful dishes, silverware, and knife set.
Paper towels provided- two rolls.
Farmhouse Dining table inside that seats 8 guests.

Top of the Rock features two full bathrooms.
Master bath (main level) has a deluxe vanity with two sinks, large walk-in shower, and separate toilet room.
Guest bathroom (lower level) is shared by the two guest rooms and has a tub/shower combo.
We provide ample towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper.

Pets
Most dogs are okay with owners' permission (we request a non-refundable pet fee). NO CATS- the owner is allergic to cats. We provide a large dog crate, dog bed, and food and water bowls. All pets must be current on shots and on flea/tick prevention. Certain breeds are restricted.
Parking
The property features a relatively flat and level paved driveway with room for multiple cars.
Suitability
All primary renters must be at least 25 years of age. Children and families are welcome. Absolutely no parties.

Panthertown Valley Details
Bald Rock is a very special mountain community that sits high above beautiful Sapphire Valley, North Carolina. Situated at the peak of our namesake mountain, the gated grounds encompass 778 acres divided into 120 mountain home sites. The property contains numerous creeks and waterfalls, a rare mountain bog, and 9.2 miles of hiking and equestrian trails. Of special interest to nature lovers, Bald Rock borders the spectacular U.S Forest Panthertown Valley Backcountry Area. In the words of the Forest Service: Panthertown Valley, referred to as the Yosemite of the East, lies on the eastern continental divide in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains.
With more than 25 miles of designated trails in this 6,300 acre backcountry area visitors can enjoy deep gorges and broad valleys, mountain bogs and granitic rock domes, tranquil creeks and plunging waterfalls while hiking, biking or horseback riding. Bald Rock owners enjoy direct access to this mountain wonderland by virtue of a connecting Forest Service trail that is approved for hikers, bikers, and horses.
Bald Rock is extremely well-maintained with paved roads and underground utilities. While it is never a bad thing to have 4WD in the mountains (especially in the winter months), our cottage is easily accessible despite the 4200 feet of elevation. Don't forget to bring your mountain bikes and hiking boots- we have amazing trails inside the community as well as direct access to 6300-acre Panthertown Valley which boasts over 25 miles of trails.
